An Oklahoma Satanist is planning<\/a> to pour fake blood over a statue of the Virgin Mary in front of a Catholic church\u00a0on Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n

Adam Daniels told the Oklahoman that he will perform the act outside St. Joseph\u2019s Old Cathedral in Oklahoma City.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe purpose of the blood is to add another layer of corruption to Mary, which is an emblem of the Catholic Church,\u201d he said. The statue will also be covered, said Daniels, \u201cin sulfur powder and ash.\u201d<\/p>\n

The display is\u00a0entitled “The\u00a0Virgin Birth is a Lie.”\u00a0Daniels believes that the virgin birth of Jesus is a fraud. He\u00a0said that his action is in reaction to protests<\/a>\u00a0by the Catholic Church over a Black Mass held in Oklahoma City last year, along with protests at a Baphomet statue unveiling last year and at a\u00a0book signing by Daniels.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey continue to protest just about everything we do both here in Oklahoma City and nationally,\u201d he said. \u201cThis is a tit-for-tat.\u201d<\/p>\n
