Mexico is being swept by a wave of satanic ritual killings with exorcists saying there is an unprecedented demand for their services.<\/h2>\n

He said that \u201cdevil worship\u201d stemmed from\u00a0the so-called cult of\u00a0Santa Muerte, depicted as\u00a0a human corpse with\u00a0all the flesh picked off\u00a0the bones, and dressed like\u00a0a bride for\u00a0her wedding.The name means \u201cHoly Death\u201d \u2013 and it harks back to\u00a0the days when to\u00a0be sacrificed to\u00a0the Aztec gods was considered the greatest honor.<\/p>\n

“The vampire fad is something that’s very close to\u00a0Satanism,” Father Fortea stated.<\/p>\n

Edwin Juarez Palma, a 24-year-old restaurant worker, was beaten, strangled and had his neck slashed with\u00a0a broken bottle by\u00a0the proponents of\u00a0the vampire cult during\u00a0a ceremony intended to\u00a0turn him into\u00a0a vampire, the Sun wrote.<\/p>\n

Police said that the young man was killed after\u00a0being fooled into\u00a0taking part in\u00a0an initiation ceremony to\u00a0become part of\u00a0a satanic cult called the Sons of\u00a0Baphomet 1.<\/p>\n

Instead he was tortured after\u00a0having his hands tied behind\u00a0his back after\u00a0one of\u00a0the alleged killers persuaded the others that their victim should be sacrificed so he could return to\u00a0life as\u00a0a vampire. Two men and one woman, later arrested in\u00a0connection with\u00a0the killing, admitted that they belonged to\u00a0the Sons of\u00a0Bahomet 1 cult.<\/p>\n

Police Chief Pablo Rocha said: \u201cThis crime took place during\u00a0an initiation ceremony led by\u00a0a satanic sect called Sons of\u00a0Baphomet 1 during\u00a0which the victim was supposed to\u00a0become a vampire.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
