Credit: carloacutis.com<a><\/a><a><\/a><a><\/a><a><\/a><a><\/a><a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Milan, Italy, Jan 25, 2019 \/ 03:44 pm (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/\">CNA<\/a>).- The body of Venerable Carlo Acutis, an Italian teenager and computer programmer, was exhumed this week according to Canon Law, as a part of the process of investigation for canonization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOn Wednesday, 23 January, the mortal remains of the Venerable Carlo Acutis, were exhumed in accord with Canon Law and transferred to a suitable location in preparation for their translation to the Shrine of the Renunciation in Assisi, scheduled for 5-6 April,\u201d Nicola Gori, the postulator of Acutis\u2019 cause of beatification and canonization,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.carloacutis.com\/en\/association\/comunicati-postulatore\"><strong>announced online<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gori also cautioned against pre-emptive reports that declared that Acutis had been found to be incorrupt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAny judgement on the state of the body\u2019s preservation is premature as the necessary examinations by medical personnel are currently underway,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cautionary announcement came after Father Marcelo Tenorio, a priest of S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil, who said he was a vice postulator for the cause, announced on his Facebook page that the body of Acutis had been found to be incorrupt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe width=\"300\" height=\"250\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While the original post was taken down, Tenorio posted a second post for clarification on Thursday. \u201cThe body was in a good state of repair,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said that he had made the announcement that the body was \u201cintact, but without any authority, of course, because who will say if it is a miracle or not will be the experts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/news\/body-of-venerable-teen-exhumed-too-early-to-declare-incorrupt-10239\">https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/news\/body-of-venerable-teen-exhumed-too-early-to-declare-incorrupt-10239<\/a><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>4.3K127 Carlo Acutis.
