<\/figure>\n\n\n\nThe journalist David Murgia<\/a>, leaked excerpts of the thirty-page Medjugorje report of Cardinal Ruini\u2019s commission which was launched 2010 (IlSegnoDiGiona.com, February 7).<\/p>\n\n\n\nThe report claims \u201cwith reasonable certainty,” that “the first seven apparitions” are “intrinsically credible,\u201d calling the hypothesis of a demonic origin unfounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Its fallacious main argument is Medjugorje’s \u201cpositive fruits.\u201d The commission voted 13 to 1 that the phenomenon\u2019s beginning wasn’t attributable to manipulation or human dynamics alone “but had a supernatural origin.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, it noticed a “repetitive banality\u201d of some of the Medjugorje messages, misses elements of transcendence [miracles], and advises that the “linguistic formulation” of the still ongoing messages should be overseen [and corrected?] by a priest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The seers have \u201ca relation, ambiguous in certain aspects, with money,\u201d the report notices, and \u201cdo not, in fact, appear mature either in their faith or in their ecclesiality, and at certain times not even in their psychological consistency.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About one seer, not named by Murgia, it observes that his “only work” are conferences on Medjugorje, that he has \u201clied multiple times,\u201d and is less credible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
