Last week, a newborn boy was found abandoned and swaddled in a towel in a Nativity scene at a Queens church, a surreal and heartbreaking story for a city preparing to celebrate Christmas. The mother’s reason for leaving her child has been a mystery. But here, the 18-year-old woman tells Post reporter Lorena Mongelli in her native Spanish why she made the decision. She wished to remain anonymous because her family never knew she was pregnant. The police have declined to press charges.

I had just arrived to New York five months ago from Mexico, and nobody knew I was pregnant. I didn’t even tell the baby’s father in Mexico because I knew I was leaving.

My aunt, who is living with me now, still doesn’t know. She didn’t recognize me from the blurry pictures released to the media last week. Even now, I’m too afraid to reveal my identity.

Throughout the pregnancy, I wore loose-fitting clothes, but I didn’t really gain that much weight.

I gained only 10 pounds, so nobody ever noticed. I never got any medical checkups, only once in Mexico, where doctors confirmed I was pregnant and estimated the baby would be born sometime in December.

I was extremely scared when I suddenly went into labor last week, alone in my house.

I must have been in excruciating pain for over two hours, and at some point, I just knew that I needed to get the baby out. I started pushing because each time I pushed, the pain would go away.

I pushed for 15 minutes until the baby finally came out. It was a boy, but he didn’t let out a cry until later, so I really had no idea whether he was OK. I was too scared to cut the umbilical cord, so I left it on.

I picked him up and carried him out the door with the cord still dangling. I didn’t have any baby clothes for him, but I needed to take him someplace safe.

I’m very religious, and I thought about the Holy Child Jesus Church. I’ve been there before, and the people there are good.

I knew if I left him in God’s hands, he would be OK.

It was cold outside, and on the way there, I noticed his lips were turning purple. I thought, I don’t want him to die, he must be cold.

I ran into the first store I saw and purchased a towel to wrap him in.

I rushed into the church and left him in the manger. He was crying. I just prayed he was warm enough. I knew the priest would find him, and somebody would help him.

I even went back the next day, just to make sure.

The people at church recognized me and told me he was OK. I’m glad the baby is healthy and was released from the hospital this week, but I haven’t seen him.

I know it will be hard to see him right now because I’m still thinking about whether I am going to keep him. I haven’t decided yet, but it’s a possibility.

I would love to be a mom one day, but right now, I don’t feel I’m ready. I don’t know when the right time would be, but I do need a stable job first.

It’s my baby, and I am still thinking about keeping him. It’s not an easy decision.

Bleeding host’ under investigation by SL Catholic diocese- Video at link.

KUTV) The Salt Lake Catholic Diocese has started an investigation into what is being described as a ‘bleeding host’ at a local parish, St. Francis Xavier in Kearns.

Images of the host, given to 2News, showed circles of deep red, and a section with a pink hue.

As we understand it, a boy was given communion by a local priest. A relative told the priest the child had not yet made his first communion — or wasn’t Catholic — and handed back the host, a wafer the faithful believe becomes the body and blood of Jesus Christ during consecration in Mass.

The priest put the host in water, and later noticed dramatic change.

Now, a five member diocesan committee will look into whether there is — or is not — an explanation.

“The work of the committee is now underway,” said Monsignor M. Francis Mannion, the panel chair. “The results will be made public.”

He added, the host is “in the custody of the diocesan administrator.”

Bridget O’Brien brought her children to pray the Rosary on Friday at St. Francis, and called the host a “miracle,” saying it was a manifestation of Christ.

Reports of Eucharistic miracles have been publicized through the ages, though the Catholic Church may take years or decades to make a pronouncement what some insist they have witnessed.

It’s unknown if the Vatican has been made aware of what has been observed here, and the effort to find out more.

Besides Mannion, another priest, a deacon, a ministry coordinator, and a PhD who is an associate professor of neurobiology are on the investigative committee.

“Whatever the outcome of the investigation, we can use this time to renew our faith and devotion in the greatest miraclethe real presence of Jesus Christ that takes place at every Mass,” said Mannion.

Newborn boy left in Queens church’s nativity scene

Published on Nov 24, 2015

A newborn boy was left in a Queens church’s nativity scene. It happened around noon on Monday at the Holy Child Jesus Church in Richmond Hill. Father Christopher Heanue said the baby was placed in the nativity scene, near the altar. A custodian found the baby, with its umbilical cord still attached, in the indoor creche. He heard crying and followed the noises to the nativity scene, which was being set up for the holiday season. The newborn was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he is doing fine. He is said to be just over 5 pounds and 17 inches long. By law, a church is considered a safe haven for drop-offs, but you are supposed to hand the baby off to a responsible person and not leave the child unattended.

Mother Angelica’s condition has declined to the point where she had to be put on a feeding tube.

Since our last update, Mother Angelica’s condition has
declined, and it became necessary to put her on a feeding tube.
The good part is that she now receives the necessary nutrients
she needs. There were some up and down moments, and
Mother has suffered a great deal these past months. She is
quite a trouper. God has gifted Mother with much suffering
during her life which she has always accepted, living out her
motto “Totus Jesu” – All for Jesus.

Philadelphia Baby’s Brain Tumor Shrinks After Kiss From Pope

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) —  Two months ago, Warrington residents Joey and Kristen Masciantonio say they experienced a miracle when Pope Francis spontaneously kissed their one-year-old daughter, Gianna, on the head.

Now, two months later, they believe it helped lead to recent scans that show barely any sign of Gianna’s tumor.

Gianna has a rare, inoperable brain tumor.

Her blood cells attacked her brain stem weeks after birth and surgery is not an option.

The Masciantonio clan showed up for the papal parade in front of Independence Hall, expecting maybe a quick glance. They got much more, thanks to a friend from the FBI.

“I think this is all from God. I believe the Pope is a messenger from God,” her father Joey Masciantonio told Eyewitness News.

The man who held Gianna for the Pope is Domenico Giani.  He is the Pope’s bodyguard.

Dominic is the name of Gianna’s older brother, and the Masciantonio family believes the similar names is just another sign of divine intervention. They say the proof is in the scans.

The August scan shows the tumor.

In the November scan, it’s hard to find proof of a tumor.

“She’s getting better and stronger. She’s blowing kisses. She’s starting to point at things,” Kristen Masciantonio told Eyewitness News.

Gianna was named for St. Gianna, a modern-day saint who died in 1962. Saint Gianna’s daughter was in Philadelphia and met little Gianna during the papal weekend. Her parents insist Gianna’s future is a bright one, and they can’t wait to sit down to show her and tell her what a difference a kiss can make.

“Last year was about living in honor of her. Now we’re going to get to live with her,” Joey Masciantonio said.

I’m french and i think that this information will be interesting for some of you. It’s from the mainstream press. This is what happened in the Bataclan yesterday:

“The ambiance was good. The group was playing for one hour. They had just said: “We love you Paris” and started to sing the song Kiss the Devil with these lyrics : « I Meet the Devil And this Is His Song», when we heard very clearly some explosions behind the entrance door.”

Careful with these links-some language.

American Band in Paris Sings “Kiss the Devil” as Terrorists Attack

Satanism in Rock Music Alive and Well

Le Point reports that the American rock group Eagles of Death Metal, traumatized by the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night, have now returned home to California. They were reportedly in the middle of a song aptly entitled Kiss the Devil when the killers stormed the concert hall and starting killing people.

How about some lyrics from that song by this “fun-loving” American band:

“Kiss The Devil”

Who’ll love the devil?…
Who’ll song his song?…
Who will love the devil and his song?…
I’ll love the devil!…
I’ll sing his song!…
I will love the devil and his song!… Who’ll love the devil?… Who’ll kiss his tongue?… Who will kiss the devil on his tongue?… I’ll love the devil!… I’ll kiss his tongue!…
I will kiss the devil on his tongue!…
Who’ll love the devil?…
Who’ll sing his song?…
I WILL LOVE THE DEVIL AND SING HIS SONG!…

The new world war

The new world war

We still don’t seem to get it: In the wake of September 11, there was an unusual display of the aurora borealis, just as there was a great aurora — an unprecedented one — that turned out to be the great sign of Fatima, announcing world war in the deep winter of 1938. The aurora foreseen at Fatima preceded the first dominos that soon began to fall in Austria, leading to the great conflict.

The one after 9/11 announced a new war, one between Muslims and Christians, and one that may soon be reminiscent of the Muslim (Moor) invasions of Europe a thousand years before.

For now the “invasion,” the dominoes, are through terrorism and perhaps the march of migrant Muslims who in some parts of Europe (see England) have built so many mosques that they outnumber Christian churches. There is a great flux in population — hordes seeking refuge (many of whom should be assisted in their plight, others harboring violent Islam) — that brings to mind another scene from the past: the parades of hungry and desperate and destitute who roamed like wraiths of flesh-and-blood from town to town and city to city during great weather upheaval and food shortages and disease in the Middle Ages.

History repeats itself, as prophecy. The massacre in Paris — with dead and wounded and blood all around, with hundreds of sirens wailing — was widely described as “apocalyptic.” Precursors. War. A gradual slow-burning war. The Pope himself described it as “another piece” in a piecemeal world war. The straight fact is that Muslims are attacking Christians around the world and have killed innocent people in dozens of countries — yet are seen as the “minority,” the persecuted. This is the devil turning things upside down.

Diabolical disorientation, Sister Lucia of Fatima called it. Obviously, there are many good Muslims. Also obviously, there is something profoundly wrong with the dictates of Islam as well as with the psycho/spiritual makeup of the region. Radical Muslims flash eyes, fulminating with hatred, that betray the demonic. Their irrationality, unfairness, and cruelty: There have been so many acts of cruelty on their behalf that we lose tally, are inured to suicide bombings, even forget that a few short weeks before Paris there was the Russian jet that exploded with hundreds aboard, leaving families motherless or fatherless or childless.

The attacks in Paris were centered on the city where the Miraculous Medal revelations occurred in 1830, messages from Mary that likewise had warned of upheaval in society due to its evil. Like attracts like. Evil begets evil. At Rue du Bac in 1830 the Blessed Mother introduced a new phase in the history of her apparitions. In those appearances she warned that a dark era lay in the immediate future as she struck a pose in which she stepped on a serpent. Holding a globe, she revealed herself in worldwide dispute with the forces of dark. “The times are evil,” she told Saint Catherine Laboure. “Misfortunes of all kinds will befall France.” It pertains today as it also did in the upheavals of the 19th century. “The whole world will be turned upside-down by misfortunes of all kinds.”

There is also the mystical component of “coincidence”: The material used to make the bombs in Paris was triacetone triperoxide and is nicknamed “Mother of Satan” (due to its extreme volatility) and a band from California called “Eagles of Death” was seven songs into a concert at that hall when its performance of a song called “Kiss the Devil” was interrupted by gunfire Friday (the 13th, 2015). Band members had to flee through a backstage exit, and on Saturday nixed the remaining dates on a European tour. Heavy metal. Brushing up against the devil. Inviting it.

Dark brings dark. Yet, what do we learn? Not much. Maybe, nothing. In the wake of September 11 was the hope that this warning — this mere precursor of coming events, this horrid assault by Muslims on the innocent — would bring sensuous materialistic Westerners back to their senses and back to worshipping God, to putting Him back at the center. Instead, our society has done the exact opposite. While church attendance skyrocketed immediately after 9/11, it soon enough fell back off, and even lower than ever — with God and Christ chased out of society with unprecedented vehemence.

Just as the ancient Israelites defied chastisement and rebuilt towers bigger and better after they were attacked, so do we now, instead of churches, build more towers, more skyscrapers, more walls of materialism in New York, including the Freedom Tower, which glorifies not God but man.

Incredibly, instead of waking us up to the threat of radical Islam (violence is an inherent part of the Koran), the now-many assaults — the beheadings, the shootings — have caused us to accommodate it.

We eliminate Christian symbols so as not to offend Muslims or atheists. Paganism reigns. Instead of raising Jesus above New York in the wake of 9/11, who is raised?

Celebrating Hinduism, the Empire State Building recently formed its lights into a visage of the demi-god Kali (Hindu god of death; above left). The image was eerily similar to formations in the smoke that horrible September day (above, right).

We are blind.

In times of old — in the 1950s, when there was still a Christian ambience — New York City skyscrapers displayed crosses on poignant occasions.

Now the Cross has been banned from public and replaced by Kali as we continue to descend into the period of trial, terror, and chastisement.
