Lucy’s last words

Lucia was not going to last long, according to her doctor, as her will to live was gone, and her breathing difficult, so doctor Branca could do nothing except wait for the end. Then suddenly Lucia moved her head from the right to the left and back again as if wanting to see all in front of her. She was seeing something and more than one thing.

“For the Holy Father! … Our Lady, Our Lady,

Holy Angels, Heart of Jesus, Heart of Jesus!

We are going, we are going.

“Where?” asked Mother Celina

“To Heaven…”

“With whom?” asked Mother Celina

With Our Lord … Our Lady … and the little Shepherds.”

And she breathed her last. ……………………………………..

It is evident that Lucia was seeing Our Lady, Jesus, Angels, and Jacinta and Francisco, who had come to take her to Heaven, and finally in audible words she said, let “US” go, and not let me go, for she knew they would go up to Heaven together, as they had come down to take her with them. Jacinta and Francisco had felt sorry for Lucia when they learned that Lucia would not go to Heaven with them right away, but promised to pray for her from Heaven. Lucia complained that she would be alone without her two little shepherds with her, but Our Lady promised to be with her always to comfort her. Now her two little friends had come with the Heavenly Host to get her and take her with them to Heaven. Amen……………………………..

He is Risen! Hallelujah! He is truly risen! Hallelujah![IMG]Want to see something absolutely incredible? Last year, a group of pilgrims (including Fr. Calloway and Jim Caviezel) went with 206 Tours to the Holy Land.
On May 4, 2019, the large group of pilgrims made the Stations of the Cross very early and arrived at the Holy Sepulchre (tomb of Jesus Christ) a little after 6:00am. Before the doors to the Holy Sepulchre were open for the priests to enter and celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, one of the pilgrims took a photo of the front of the tomb.
The doors to the tomb were shut. Father Calloway was standing very close to the photographer who took the pic and testifies that the doors were shut. Look at what came out in the photo!
In the montage of pics, the upper right shows what everyone was seeing that morning (the closed doors to the tomb). On the left is what came out in one of the photos taken that morning! On the lower right is an enhanced view of the miraculous photo.

Interestingly, the mystic Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich described the appearance of the risen Lord to his mother in this way: “I saw the risen Lord appearing to His Blessed Mother on Mount Calvary. He was transcendently beautiful and glorious, His manner full of earnestness.

His garment, which was like a white mantle thrown about His limbs, floated in the breeze behind Him as He walked. It glistened blue and white, like smoke curling in the sunshine.”
Believe! Jesus Christ is risen from the dead! He is the Son of God. He is the Savior of the world!padraigMar 9, 2021#1sparrowJuliaJo M and 3 others like this.

Canonize Him! The Incredible Story Of Priest Who Went Down With Titanic

April 16, 2021 by sd

From America Magazine:

“When the Titanic went to the bottom, Father Thomas B. Byles stood on the deck with Catholics, Protestants, and Jews kneeling around him,” Agnes McCoy, another Irish immigrant, told the New York Telegram after the sinking, according to the website FatherByles.com. “Father Byles was saying the Rosary and praying for the repose of the souls of those about to perish. To many he administered the last rites of the Church.”

“When the crash came, we were thrown from our berths,” Ellen Mary Mockler, an Irish immigrant in third class, said after the sinking. “We saw before us, coming down the passageway, with his hand uplifted, Father Byles…. ‘Be calm, my good people,’ he said, and then he went about the steerage giving absolution and blessings.”“Father Byles could have been saved, but he would not leave,” Mockler said. “After I got in the boat, which was the last one to leave, and we were slowly going further away from the ship, I could hear distinctly the voice of the priest and the responses to his prayers.”+Father Byles may have perished in the sinking, but like the theme song to the Titanic movie says, his heart goes on. Graham Smith, a priest who headed Father Byles’ former parish of St. Helen’s in Ongar, England, introduced the cause for beatification in 2015. Father Smith described Father Byles to the BBC as “an extraordinary man who gave his life for others.” He added, “We hope people around the world will pray to him if they are in need and, if a miracle occurs, then beatification and then canonization can go forward.” At least two miracles must be attributed to the intercession of a candidate for sainthood.

“Father Byles could have been saved, but he would not leave,” Mockler said. “After I got in the boat, which was the last one to leave, and we were slowly going further away from the ship, I could hear distinctly the voice of the priest and the responses to his prayers.”RELATED STORIES
