I just received this info: recently certain restrictions have begun in the village of Garabandal, restrictions imposed by the new Bishop of Santander Msgr Monge, appointed by Pope Francis in May 2015, as below :

Prohibition of any Mass at the Pines or at the St Michael Chapel
Prohibition to talk about the Appartions of our Lady of Mount Carmel in the village of Garabandal
Prohibition to any Priests to come in Garabandal as a representative of the Church except privately
Prohibition in the village of Garabandal of any religious manifestation in connection with the Apparitions.
The New Bishop Msgr Monge refused also to bless the new center of the Apparitions, opened recently as he imposed a strict control on its website.

When Mary spoke to a young mom

Years ago, when there was an eruption of proclaimed apparitions and locutions in Ohio — the hotspot of such paroxysms back then — one of the quieter and yet more interesting and profound ones was known as the “Apostolate of Holy Motherhood.”

The alleged locutions, to a young mother whose messages from Jesus and Mary were often interrupted by her crying infant, were received, in vision, from February through August 1987. The recipient has always remained anonymous — known only as “Mariamante” (we tried to get in touch with her, to no avail).

For our purposes, the interesting part is that her book of messages, under the same “Apostolate” title, was granted a nihil obstat by Monsignor Joseph P. Malara, censor liborum of her diocese (Steubenville), and an imprimatur from the bishop, Most Reverend Albert H. Ottwenwller. It’s interesting not only because most such “messages” do not bear an imprimatur, but also because of certain things Mariamante quoted the Blessed Mother and Jesus as saying, which fall into the realm of prophecy.

While the vast majority of the locutions had to do with holiness and devotion (and while an imprimatur doesn’t mean the bishop believes they are coming directly from the Blessed Mother, only that they are fruitful meditations that do not contradict the Church) — while for the most part they were guides to prayer and better living, especially in the raising of a family — there were, as in other supposed messages, warnings about the future. Perhaps the most stark one came on February 14 of that year, when Mariamante quoted the Virgin as telling her, “The world is facing a grave cataclysm beyond known proportion due to impiety and impurity. I have come to rescue the world from this fate. God has given me this mission.”

“You will know by the sign in the heavens which is I myself that the time is at hand for the instantaneous conversion of the multitude,” she said Mary told her a week later, on February 22, at 10:30 a.m., in 1987. “This I will accomplish through a tremendous outpouring of Grace upon earth given at the hands of God to me for this purpose.” It would be her triumph. But before that, purification.

“Heaven is most distressed with the state the world is in,” was one message from Mary. “It is very bad right now. Only prayer and penance can change this. Be attentive to your children. They are most important. They will live during the reign of my Immaculate Heart. This is a prelude to the ushering in of the reign of the Sacred Heart… Do not be afraid. You have nothing to fear. I love you and will protect you always from the public eye.” Humility, said Mary, was especially urgent. Faith had to be put into personal change and action.

While distressed with the world, said the Blessed Mother, Heaven was pleased with devout families. One’s salvation and sanctification can occur through simple family duties. As elsewhere she requested recitation of the Rosary as well as the First Friday and First Saturday devotions. (This recalls Fatima.) Mariamante quoted Jesus as the Christ Child as saying: “Listen to what she has told you at Fatima and other major apparitions. These will help you to follow My Gospel. Her intercession is a blessing to the world. Only God could conceive of such mercy, to give you such a tender mother to intercede on your behalf. She makes recompense for your sins by her intercessions; but it is true that you must still atone for them. My Father is too offended. This cannot go on.” That was back in the 1980s! “I will bless the world again,” Jesus reportedly said, “as I did at Fatima. Each will have a chance to repent.”

But there would be major events, said the alleged locutions. While a warning of such constituted a small fraction of the locutions, they were there and in interesting language.

“You have been given many indications in the past of that which is about to occur,” said Mary on June 24, perhaps referring to something personal in the seer’s life. “But you will be surprised when it occurs. I have prepared your soul as an advocate for many and wish to endow you with extraordinary graces so that all may be accomplished through the children whom I love in a most tender way.”

In the little ways of daily living, she said, do we prepare our souls.

She called television an “intrusion” into the home and urged unselfishness.

Everyone working for her triumph would receive harassment, said the Blessed Mother, but there was too much preoccupation with the evil one. One needed to fear nothing when one invoked “the protection of the Precious Blood,” she allegedly said.

The devil was best battled not through detailed knowledge of him, she said Jesus told her, but through prayer and penance.

The Blessed Mother said she needed followers to spend hours in prayer for the world!

How much time she has bought us!

“Oh, pray for the world especially now when it is so urgent!” the Christ Child allegedly said — this before the grand flurry of similar warnings in the late 1980s and early 1990s see: The Final Hour). “The cries of the innocent call out to Me. So much injustice cannot continue for long. It must be changed and very soon or a grave chastisement will come to the world; this is the way it must be. Heaven can tolerate no more. My Father and I have determined it so. Either change or this will have to come about.”

And so went the messages.

How many have been listened to? How many ones that were heard have been forgotten? How many requests from Jesus have we not followed because we are caught up in the worldly version of Catholicism?

Bremerton HS students invite satanists to oppose praying coach

BREMERTON — When the Bremerton BREMERTON — When the Bremerton Knights take the field against Sequim on Thursday, a group of Satanists dressed in ceremonial robes will be watching from the stands.

The members of The Satanic Temple of Seattle say they are coming to the game to advocate for religious equality, in light of the controversy sparked by Bremerton High School assistant football coach Joe Kennedy, who has threatened to sue the school district if he is not allowed to pray on the field after games.

Bremerton School District spokeswoman Patty Glaser confirmed Wednesday the district has received a request from the Satanic Temple asking to be allowed access to the field after the game for a ceremony. The district is working on a statement in response, Glaser said.

The Satanists aren’t coming uninvited. Two Bremerton High School students responded to a public offer made by the Temple this week to give an invocation at the game and asked the Satanists to attend.

The two students had different motivations for contacting the Satanists, but both said they wanted to emphasize the need for equal religious opportunity at their school. They believe if the district allows prayer on the football field after games, people of all faiths should be allowed to participate.

“The school district needs to create religious opportunity for everyone or ban it completely,” said Abe Bartlett, senior class president and one of the students who contacted the Satanic Temple. “There can’t be a middle ground.”

Bartlett said he was aware of Kennedy’s tradition of praying after games and wasn’t concerned with the coach’s actions in the past. “No harm no foul,” as Bartlett put it. He believed Kennedy’s intentions were good, at least to begin with. But Bartlett’s feelings changed as Kennedy moved toward legal action against the district this week.

“I think that crossed a line,” Bartlett said. “That’s when I felt the need to contact The Satanic Temple.”

Bartlett hopes the appearance by the Satanists will prompt action by the school district. He expects to receive backlash from some members of the community over his decision to contact the Temple, but he believes most will understand his motivation.

“I want to do what’s best with the kids at this point,” Bartlett said. “And not just what’s best for Joe Kennedy.”

It was national media coverage of the controversy that drove the other Bremerton High School student to respond to The Satanist Temple. The student asked to remain anonymous, fearing backlash from the community, but responded to questions Wednesday in an email to the Kitsap Sun.

“The portrayal of Joe Kennedy by Fox News as a would-be hero is definitely a reason why I’m frustrated,” the student, a self-described atheist, said. “Once Fox News covered us, we appear in the Seattle Times, all over atheist and Christian rights websites; our school is notorious for one man, despite our success in lowering dropout rates, student achievements, etc. It’s national coverage for a local school that I feel was doing pretty well.”

The student said the district didn’t go far enough to block Kennedy from praying. Like Bartlett, the student thinks inviting Satanists to pray at the game will help hasten a resolution.

“I hope the attention from outside interests will finally get all people to realize that this is why prayer and religion isn’t allowed in public schools or by public school officials,” the student said. “I’m quite exhausted with progress that we haven’t made, so it’s time to change strategies. Protesting won’t cut it.”

Bartlett said controversy over prayer at the school has sparked some healthy conversations between teachers and students. In some classes, he said the situation has been used as an opportunity to discuss the First Amendment and the polarized national debate over religion in schools.

That said, he hopes the maelstrom will die down after Thursday’s game, and life at Bremerton High can return to normal.

Catholic Bishop says made-for-tv event at infamous Bel Nor home is reckless and potentially dangerous

Video at link.

“Any attempt to use the solemn Rite of Exorcism as entertainment exposes all participators to the danger of future hidden satanic attack.”

ST LOUIS- Friday night a cable TV show will broadcast a live exorcism inside a St. Louis County house.

And it’s not just any home. It’s the house where Catholic priests performed an exorcism on a young boy in 1949.

The true events that inspired the famous movie, ‘The Exorcist’, in 1973.

NewsChannel 5 got an exclusive first look at the made-for-TV event that leading Catholics in St. Louis are calling an unholy ritual.

It could be a house on any street in any town. But what happened here in Bel Nor, in 1949, is one of the most talked about paranormal events in modern history.

Jesuit priests from Saint Louis University performed an exorcism on a 14-year-old boy. A boy they believed was possessed by the devil himself.

The famous movie, “The Exorcist”, is based on the extraordinary events that happened here.

The most shocking details came straight from the diary of one of the SLU Jesuits involved. You can read the full text of the diary by clicking here.http://archive.ksdk.com/assetpool/documents/121026010134_SLU-exorcism-case-study.pdf

The diary describes the boy’s bed shaking violently, and mysterious scratch marks that appeared to spell words on the boy’s body.

“Many of the things you see in that movie (‘The Exorcist’),” said SLU archivist John Waide. “Evidently things like that or almost like that did happen.”

But since 1949, nothing much out of the ordinary happened at the Bel Nor home, until just a few years ago.

In 2008, radio host Dave Glover invited people to spend a half hour in the room where the exorcism happened. Three tried–no one made it past five minutes.

“The look on one of the young lady’s face is as close to horror and terror that I ever want to see,” said the host of The Dave Glover Show on 97.1 FM.

Based on the genuine chills and screams from Dave Glover’s video shoot at the house, cable TV channel Destination America will have a crew and a bishop from an offshoot of the Roman Catholic church perform an exorcism on the house—on live TV, Friday night.

“Exorcism is not entertainment,” says Bishop Robert Hermann with the Archdiocese of St. Louis. “Exorcism is serious business.”

Bishop Robert Hermann with the Catholic Archdiocese of St. Louis is deeply concerned. Bishop Hermann believes any attempt to conjure up the devil– even for a TV show– is a gravely serious and potentially dangerous stunt!

“It can only be done with the authority of the Archbishop by someone appointed by the Archbishop who is the exorcist for the diocese.”

“Exorcism is to be done privately so as not to give Satan a lot of publicity.”

Many neighbors in the area are also upset with the production.

“It’s ludicrous. It’s a big hoax. Don’t come. Don’t pay attention to it,” said Linda Kemp.

Common complaints you’ll hear include too much additional traffic and noise to blocked streets and driveways.

Greg Taylor said, “There’s just lots of trucks moving around. You hear the beeping every now and then.”

“Generators going at 11 o’clock at night. And they’re loud. You can’t sleep,” Shauna McWoods said.

McWoods, a Catholic, has even gone as far as to have her home blessed before the showtime.

She said, “Those negative spirits are real.”

Dancing Sun Miracle – Divine Mercy Hills, Philippines

Published on Oct 10, 2013

Over 10,000 devotees witnessed the inexplicable solar phenomenon — truly, a Divine, and Supernatural Manifestation that occurred in El Salvador city, Philippines during Feast Day of the Divine Mercy (Mercy Sunday).

The clouds broke, and from behind the mountains, the sun came out as an opaque disc in the sky. The sun danced, changed colours, spun like a pinwheel, and made a most sensational demonstration.

Many miraculous conversions and healings happened—most importantly, the healing of the human heart.

DIVINE MERCY HILL IN EL SALVADOR, PHILIPPINES IS HOLY GROUND

“It was in the year 2000, The Golden Jubilee Year – when a group of Divine Mercy devotees started to receive visions, messages and instructions from Jesus to start to build the Church of His Mercy.” The testimony is told in a pamphlet — published by the non-profit group Divine Mercy Foundation of Mindanao — and explains the mystery behind the Divine Mercy Hills shrine.

However the response was not an immediate yes.

“For three straight years the group ignored the Lord’s request to build His Church out of fear and worry.”

They only had P2,000 pesos (USD $50) in the bank.

“It was an enormous task that the Lord was asking them. They had mixed feelings of doubts and uncertainties how this project, which will be funded from solicitations and donations, will materialize. Their fears and worries even became bigger with with the catastrophic disaster of the Twin Towers in New York USA in 2001.”

The narrative continues, “However, God’s ways are not man’s ways and the Lord rebuked them for their lack of faith with this message, “Why do you doubt? The fact that you have doubts indicate that you do not know your God, as you should. If your prayer life is infiltrated with doubts, you have denied yourself the greatest single avenue of power that your God has made available to you. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Obedience to my commands always bring fulfillment. When I give you instructions, obey immediately and watch My perfect plan unfold in your life.”

God won out. “Armed only with deep faith in the Mercy and providence of the Lord and convinced of the urgency of the message” the group, comprised of homemakers and ordinary townsfolk, frantically followed up with years of activity and outreach letting divine intervention miraculously clear the path that was once obscured by doubt and incredulity.

Today, the 50-foot statue of the Divine Mercy Image stands on the hills overlooking the town of El Salvador, now a city, in Misamis Oriental in Mindanao and Macajalar Bay to the east. The red and pale rays in the image are made of stairs that lead up to an inner chamber within the heart of the image where a tabernacle awaits the pilgrim. The image stands like a lighthouse for ships at sea.

The symbolism is intentional. According to the testimony, “It serves as a beacon of hope for weary souls and a fountain of respite for all people.”

The little town of El Salvador in Mindanao where the Divine Mercy Hills Shrine is ensconced above a valley has become a magnet for pilgrims and travelers from all over the Philippines and many parts of the world eager to see the wonders of mercy that the Lord has wrought in this remote part of the world. Among them are the faithful who carry out the deeds prayers and words asked in the “Diary: Divine Mercy in My Soul” by Sister Faustina which reads, “I desire that the whole world know my infinite mercy. I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy.” (Diary 687)

“The site would be in this century what Fatima was in its own century according to the Lord,” explained Paquita Adaza, the spokesperson for the Divine Mercy Foundation of Mindanao, Inc. and one of the members of the charismatic prayer group that was inspired to carry out the enormous undertaking.

She explained it took their prayer group three years to act but in the end, the numerous signs, encouragement and inspiration from the Lord won out over what seemed insurmountable obstacles of fear, apprehension, lack of money and procrastination to build a shrine in an obscure town in Mindanao.

“True to His words, when the group submitted to God’s Holy Will, an endless account of miracles took place, from the discovery of the land, negotiations with lot owners, and finding funds for the purchase of the lots, up to the outpouring of donations for its initial developments and the construction of the P25M-plus, 50-foot statue in only three years.”

[VIDEO] 7th-grader says Texas teacher FORCED students to deny God is real or get a FAILING GRADE

EAG – A Texas seventh-grader is standing up for her religious beliefs after she alleges her teacher forced students to deny that God is real, and threatened them with failing grades if they don’t agree.

Jordan Wooley, a seventh grade student at West Memorial Junior High School in the Katy Independent School District, testified at a school board meeting last night about an assignment in her reading class that caused a serious controversy, and expressed frustration about her teacher’s atheist indoctrination.

“Today I was given an assignment in school that questioned my faith and told me that God was not real. Our teacher had started off saying that the assignment had been giving problems all day. We were asked to take a poll to say whether God is fact, opinion or a myth and she told anyone who said fact or opinion was wrong and God was only a myth,” Wooley told board members.

Students immediately objected, Wooley said, but the teacher refused to consider their position.

“Another student asked the teacher if we could put what we believe in the paper, and she said we could … but you would fail the paper if you do,” Wooley told the board.
